I'm sorry but you didn't get a 5.006 your first time completing the game. You are obviously an alt of ScarletDeathweaver, the player who cheated a run and keeps making obvious alts for no apparent reason. Your account also has a rejected 8-4 IL run that is two seconds faster than the TAS and was rejected for using an emulator banned because of how easy it is to cheat with it. It is pretty apparent that you are an alt trolling for no reason and your run should not be approved.
Bruce is the bowser before Bowser in 8-4 of SMB2J and sometimes appears in glitched levels. He is blue because Bowser only turns green when the axe is loaded.
You can't clip in enough to clip into the ground. You need to have upwards or no speed to fully clip into a block with no block over it.
I know for smb1 there is a game genie to move Mario even while he's in the celling so there might be something like that for this game.
On the github, click the green "code" button, then "download zip". It should download a zipped folder. Unzip it and there is a file called smb-v5.6.ips. Use this website: https://www.marcrobledo.com/RomPatcher.js/ and under "ROM File" select the SMB1 rom. For "patch file" use the smb-v5.6.ips. Open the rom in an emulator and start the game. One you are in 1-1, press enter. A menu will appear. Use Select to move down to "Input" and A to change it to "On". Press enter to start the game again
You need Simplistic's version of Pellsson. https://github.com/simplistic6502/smb
There is no reason to convert times. A speedrun is how long it takes you to beat the game. If you play on slower hardware, it physically takes you longer to beat the game, so that's your time.
GreatestRoman, that's what I thought too but they said the tas they use is 4:44, which makes me think they were talking about something other than standard any%.
