In-game FPS must be shown, and not external FPS. The In-game FPS determines how fast stuff is like getting powerups. If you show FPS with an external program, you could have FPS over 200, which is quite an advantage.

Re-install the game. If that doesnt work, use the new version or the auto fps on.

basically, how do i consistently get 40+ m/s

i know about all that, but im wondering if there is a consistent way to get enough speed for the double jump skip in lvl 2, or the double jump skip in lvl 0, or the enemy skip and double jump skip in lvl 5.

Ive seen people go very fast in Any% Glitchless, and ive been trying to figure this out to improve my runs. Can someone give me an in-depth explanation on how to get the most speed without glitches?

Hi! Im 14. Ive actually been speedrunning for quite a bit now, but im still just getting into it. I mainly speedrun RE:RUN, but i might speedrun some other indie games too. Ive always loved the concept of speedrunning , and im glad i get to be a part of the community.

In the rules it says no pausing, but is pausing allowed if its just a quick restart?

I was thinking of speedrunning "new" cat mario/syobon action but i see no leaderboard for the game. Any help? (Im new to speedrunning so im not sure if it matters if there is a leaderboard or not)
