I am not a runner, but created an account to share this. I have had the game since launch, but it's been a slow playthrough due to kids and just exploring in the game. I got above the Fire Temple and shot Yunobo, he went straight down and destroyed the rock inside the boss arena, which started the fight. However, the boss dissappeared as soon as the fight starts, leaving me in a small softlock. Although the boss disappeared, maybe with different circumstances this could be a potential skip?

That's funny, awesome find. We've clipped into here with stick clip before and the same thing happened where the fight won't start. Your forced to hit all gongs sadly, the game's pretty strict.

I tried to recreate this after reloading, and I actually couldn't get it to work again. (I did only try for 5 minutes, but still) guess it was a lucky find 😅

It's likely that'd only work after getting all the gongs so it wouldn't skip anything unfortunately
