I have seen in many YouTube videos that the speedrunner has the actual game in the top right corner of the screen and has the speedrun timer, comments, and camera elsewhere on the screen. Does anyone know how to do that?

Ok, so u need a capture card to get video from ur switch to ur computer. As for the layout, first u need OBS studio to show the timer and webcam. To add the chat and alerts, go to the streamlabs website, sign in, and search and open chat and then copy the source url (same for alerts) and to add them into obs u create a webpage source and paste the link as the webpage. There ya go

capture card or any other source of recording the gameplay, for streaming with multiple different windows you use an app like OBS yea
