Hey SMG2 runners! Recently, a new major skip was discovered that skips the entire Bowser dialogue in the prologue. This skip had been theorized by a few TASers (PurpleSun and Shadow64) several years ago, but now has become a reality thanks to Sheep, a romhacker and creator of the SMG2 Kaizo hack Blue Eclipse! By side-flipping on the crystalized Luma at the start of the castle section in a very precise way, Mario will start floating. By keeping the crystal on screen, you can get high enough to cross the invisible wall and clip inside the houses. This allows you to bypass the Bowser dialogue cutscene trigger, allowing you to go to Sky Station galaxy a little faster. This roughly saves 40 seconds and is one of the biggest timesaves this game has had in a few years!
