# Why does this exist?

This is a stopgap patch until the RA Approved Codes apply to Reloaded. It may be delayed several months due to needing additional work in Dolphin to handle Sys/User GameSettings conflicts.

Because of this potentially long delay, this workaround patch is made.

# What's different?

The **only difference** is the **Force Restart on Death (Hold L)** code is built in and enabled.

This allows for a better QoL when grinding individual levels (ILs) in Retro Achievements Hardcore Mode, which is currently recommended when submitting ILs.

# What version do I apply this to, and how do I do it?

This patch **will only work** on the Widescreen variant of Shadow Reloaded v1.2 in **ISO** format.

1. Download the patch and use:

2. Patch `SHADOW RELOADED WIDESCREEN [GUPR8P].iso` with `WIDESCREEN_VERSION_SPEEDRUNS_L_TO_RESTART_PATCH_0a335975.xdelta`

3. You can optionally convert to RVZ in Dolphin after.

This version will be supported by Retro Achievements, allowing you to use the QoL code.

This output should match to:`Shadow the Hedgehog: Reloaded (v1.2) (Widescreen, Speedrun L-To-Restart) (LimblessVector, dreamsyntax)`

when launching in RetroAchievements once live.
