I find that if using Bluetooth keyboards it makes it alot easier to get low times. Becuase of the way Bluetooth works it should have a lower response time therefore helping you move faster and lowering your runs time

Double Key Pressing & The "Perfect" Run

The meta for this game has been pushed significantly further than I ever expected. Being that this started out as a competition  between friends, the only way to win was to become creative.

Since this is just a silly game, any form of inputs except macros are allowed. This brings us to Double Key Pressing.
Double Key Pressing is an exploit on top of the existing Initial Letter Exploit. If the word is "burrito," you would just hold down the "B" key and deal chip damage at a faster rate than you would typing the word... but what if you could do that faster?
Plugging in a second keyboard essentially doubles your inputs, thus drastically improving your runs. Does this work with 3+ keyboards? I haven't been able to try yet, but naturally, I would assume so. As long as you don't use a macro, any run will be accepted.

Now, what is the "perfect" run? As stated, the meta has been pushed as far as a game like this could be in such a short period of time. The "perfect" run consists of a frame perfect input, which translates to "guessing the first letter of the word before it shows up on screen." Taking advantage of this is how I got my times for elmo% and bert%. By guessing six successful times, you get the best possible time you can. If you do this on top of double key pressing, your times can easily become sub-30 for Elmo and about sub-40 for Bert. I've yet to map everything out, but I narrowed Elmo's choices to A, M, P, and R. Yes, there are more words, but I felt safer only trusting four. The thing about the RNG run is that there is a 100% chance that you get it right eventually. I just held down "A" on one keyboard and then guessed on the other keyboard. This also allowed me to get extra chip damage for the word "Paul" for Elmo.

Let's just see if we can push this meta even more.

Here Are the most common first letters in order, 
M and R with 5 words
F and P with 3 words
J and A with 2 words
W, T, N, S, D, L, G, B, C, O, E with one word each.

Alpha was close in his guide when he said he got the four starting letters down to A R M P, but the highest probability of getting a perfect run would be to hold down M or R on one keyboard and then have two other fingers on F and P. Having both hands on four letters is difficult, but possible.

Hitstun Locking & Initial Letter Exploit (ILE)

In this game, every single letter you do does chip damage, while typing out the full word does a lot more damage. If you misspell a word, you have to go back to the start of the word. When you get hit multiple times in succession, you become frozen and can't type, which often forces you to misspell words. This is known as Hitstun Locking. You become forced into it and can't attack when hit multiple times, luckily, you can also do this to your opponent as well.

I'm glad you asked! This game suffers from a fatal flaw of what I call, the Initial Letter Exploit. As mentioned, typing a letter deals chip damage, but missing a letter resets the word back to the first letter. If you mash (or even just hold down) the first letter of the word, you start dealing chip damage in a massive amount. Typically, enough to Hitstun Lock your opponent. I've seen some people like me and a few others have INSANELY good results with ILE while others still struggle facing against Elmo. Honestly, I can't figure out why this is. I think it might have something to do with browser versus browser or even a computer problem? I don't think I'll ever quite figure it out.

Incognito Strategy

When opening an incognito tab it should make the game run slightly slower, this can help you have an easier time when trying to predict letters. With this it can help the health bars move faster than normal to make up allowing for much slower times because the game is slower than usual

Kury's Faster Keyboard Settings Guide - All Any% Runs

These settings will increase the amount of times your keyboard(s) spam a certain letter. Everything mentioned here works for Windows 8+ and newer. You will probably have to adjust all their settings though. Below, you'll find a way to access your keyboard settings.

Search "Control Panel" on your mainscreen.
Find the "Devices and Printers" section and click on that.
Find your keyboard on-screen and right click properties.
If all of this was done correctly, you should come to a screen that looks like this.

It's already set to default settings. What you need to do is lessen the delay because repeat speed is already maxed out. If you wanna change it back, just go back and set it to normal and you'll be good to go again!

Control Panel>Devices and Printers>Keyboard Properties>Make your changes.

Kury's Free Keyboard Guide- All Any% Runs

Hey folks,

Getting terrible times with a single keyboard? No problem.
For any users with Windows 10 on Microsoft Computers, use these steps to access a free keyboard that can act as your 2nd for any%.

1. Search Settings in your searchbar
2. Click on Ease of Access
3. Then, simply turn the on-screen keyboard on with one of the options that pop up.

Settings>Ease of Access>On-Screen Keyboard

The only issue is that you have to use your mouse to click a certain computer key. Also apparently, the on-screen keyboards don't show up on recordings.

Being that this isn't a Macro or anything banned, feel free to enjoy a free keyboard.

Quintiple Key Pressing

The Secret, Sacred Technique.
Barely helps during a run.

You plug in 5 gaming keyboards and you somehow press down all five keys at once

The Tab Buffer (Only works on Emulator)

When entering a new match constantly switch between tabs on your computer. This will buffer the game to a frame by frame scenario. Therefore, you no longer have to guess the next letter. You can now see the first letter the very frame it comes out. I feel this is pretty self-explanatory, but let me know if I left out an important detail.

Triple key pressing

There is a way to use 3 keyboards at once if you have large enough hands, though unused before it is proven that you can get an even faster run using this method. You can use your feet if you don't have large enough hands although it will be harder to use. I believe this will become the meta, I am currently trying to get as many keyboards as possible to see where it ends.
