My Two Go-To Weapons in Survival Speedruns

1. The Grappling Hook
This is simply preference due to using it pretty often but its attack can be used for mobility and long range hits, especially if the enemy is just out of reach behind a box. It also does decent damage, being able to instakill most enemies. The only two downsides are that if you use the attack, you are forced to fully commit to it and if you don't kill the enemy you get pulled into their attacking range.
2. The Flashlight
This is a newer weapon that I've only recently started using and I'm not the best with it but it is very overpowered. The red attack is basically just an infinite range laser that can only be stopped by shields. It does some knockback and does pretty decent damage. The yellow attack is a flashing attack that paralyses enemies, does some damage and most broken of all, PIERCES THROUGH SHIELDS. It forces you to keep the flashlight pointing in the same direction while active. The weapon has a decent reload time but sometimes it can definitely mess you up. This weapon is BROKEN if you also use the 5x damage multiplier, allowing you to instakill all enemies from the other side of the map and not even the shield can stop your attacks.

# Why is Scythe the Meta?

The Scythe ability is to shoot out a **projectile that can drag and suck enemies** depending on where you shoot at. **5x Damage Modifier** and you got a 80% One-Shot, best of all the only RNG is the Bots and your Aim (and prolly the map).

## Scythe at it's Maximum effectiveness

Like I said in the previous line, you need to have **5x Damage Modifier.** You also need to **aim good** and shoot it in the **right distance** so that the **Point of Returning to User and the Enemy Position may meet**.

This is **optional** but you can also change the **Jump Modifiers** to make sure your **Target doesn't escape by jumping out** of your aim.

## Most used for Scythe Speedrunning

This is very effective against **one or two opponents (Mostly one)**. Especially in **Boss Fight Tournaments**. However its not advised not to use it on **Survival because it's recharge is slow**.

## History of Scythe (cus no one asked but me)

When the Scythe first implemented, it's ability is to make the user **invincible**. However, it was change prolly half and a quarter year later into a **nerfed** one but will overtime **spawn "Soul" Projectiles** (Maximum of 3) that when activated it will return to it's user, dealing damage to whoever contacts with it. Now, somewhere around 2022 change Scythe into just a **one** **projectile shooter** rather than being invincible for few seconds.

## Scythe Powers may probably change and/or becomes obscure in far future updates

Depending on what Devs (Neron and his brother Xeike) do. It may change soon, if it does then this **guide may be useless.**

For the obscure part, there might be weapons that are faster to kill than Scythe (like **Arm Cannon** for some people but that requires more RNG) and more so in future updates involving changing and adding weapons.

Top 4 underrated weapons Which can be good for speedruns (In my opinion)

N°4 boxing gloves: They do good damage up close and have two types of attack one that is like a short range machine gun gloves and the other you have to wait until they turn red, it will throw 2 gloves and Will take you a little bit forward. Good for survival mode or maps where the CPU spawns near you.

N°3 bazooka: It has a large projectile that is quick and easy to hit a decent rate of fire and the second banana shot that will push you in the opposite direction you throw it and make enemies spin.

N°2 Thanos' glove (I don't remember the name):
Most of the powers are great only the green and the red are kinda bad but really that's all that makes this weapon kinda average I recommend you try to do some runs with it, the blue power is Good for throwing your opponent into water/acid/lava, orange does a stupid amount of damage if it hits hard and takes multiple hits (which isn't hard when green's power is active),Purple is...well meteors

N°1 Hand Canon:honestly i don't know why no one uses this weapon in speedruns because it's like a pistol but it has a lower rate of fire but you don't need reload, and on top it has a second shot The yellow, green and red one. yellow creates a vertical beam that launches anything on top and is the most common of the 3. green sticks to anything and then explodes if it sticks to your Opponent will do multiple hits. And the last one is red, a big, fast projectile that needs to be loaded and you can't change its direction once you start loading it INSTANTLY kills the CPU Same with the damage multiplier at x1. SERIOUSLY TRY TO USE THIS WEAPON IN A SPEEDRUN

Top 5 Weapons (in my opinion)

1. The Shuriken
The damage per hit is extremely high,and it has a respectable reload time.

2.The Gun
Good Fire Rate, Good Damage and an even better Power-Up

3. The Crossbow
High damage and very good Power-Ups. I got the Pre-Selected 10 wins v Cpu WR with this

4. The Sniper
Shoots the most powerful projectile in the game, buts ranks as no.4 as its reload speed is low

5. The Laser Sword
Multiple Power-Ups, each one powerful in its own right, make the Laser Sword the 5th best weapon
