while attempting for world 2 speedruns, ive noticed how much slower my rings presses are compared to others. I'm not sure if it's just me, because im doing the same thing.

I'm not the fastest runner at ring presses, so I'd like to hear from other runners too, but here are my tips:

Press with your arms, not your chest. I always use my chest too much if I'm fresh which slows me down and tires me out faster. I do a warm up 1-1 before starting runs to help tire me out a bit.

Aim for white air blasts. You want to be pressing in the ring as little as possible because the less you press it in, the faster you can press it again. This takes a lot of getting used to on 40 calibration, which brings me to my final point.

Practice! Even with my tips, I took months of practice before I could consistently hit level 3 in 1-1 for beat world 2, and I still don't hit it 100% of the time.
