So we’ve been having issues. So we’ve recently discovered a new trick that can be used to boost/cheat runs involving Run The Block. Basically we found out you can copy Run The Block. And there’s a way you can actually alter your movement speed or any abilities. I will not go in depth about this trick because I don’t want people trying to do it and try to find a way around it. So speedrunning a copied room alone is already not a lot for any legit run. Because when we say you must speedrun this specific room we do mean specific. Copied rooms don’t count as that room if you are able to perform more tricks or alterations to that room. Basically make sure your on the source room.

So now comes to the big rule change and this applies to everyone including screen and VR. All players (Screen and VR) are now required to show the room menu showing you are in the RRO Run the Block instead of a copy. This rule will apply to all top 5 runs when the category has 25+ runs submitted for it. If the category has less than 25 runs than top 3 is required to show the room menu.

Any and all rules will still go as normal including world scale rules for vr players. Also any runs the have been verified before this rule change was made will still remain on the leaderboard as normal so no runs are being rejected at this moment. Hopefully you all understand and please make sure to read any rules on run the block.
