Hey there,

So, I wanted to dive into a NG madhouse melee only run on stream tonight and was wondering if it was actually feasible. For now, I see quite a few parts of the game that wouldn't be possible in melee only because in some instances, bosses are completely out of range.

What I mean by melee only would be knife + axe, no circular saw (NG).

• Jack Final Form will be a pain, and maybe not even doable since there is apparently no way to reach some of the eyes. Can you kill him without destroying all the eyes ?

• Beehives+Beeswarms - Old House/Marguerite fight Not sure they're killable with knife. There are 2 that you absolutely need to kill and the ones during the Marguerite bossfight.

• Marguerite before entering the Crow Room Considering you need to damage her when she's out of reach on top of the ladder, I think she's not killlable.

• Eveline For obvious reasons, you can't kill Eveline without using the Albert-01, and I'm not even sure you can kill Eveline in the room before that with a knife.

• Morgue Jack Not sure if you can kill him without using the chainsaw during the fight. Has anyone tried ? I know chainsaw would still be melee, but I'd only do it if there's no way to knife him.

What do you guys think ?

Maybe instead of knife/melee only there can be a sort of "pacifist" run where you don't use weapons outside of boss fights

You can kill morgue Jack by just shooting him, no chainsaw. So I would assume you can kill him with other melee weapons too but would need to try it.
