Similar to Payday2 leaderboards where the version of the game is shown as a filter rather than a category
I would say still keep the old versions to segregate what WAS the fastest and what is NOW the fastest, Except for full game.
Because everytime a heist will be added, removed, revamped, or reworked, even if its just one heist, will complete wipe the "Current" Version Category which just makes it futile
the game's been through about 600 versions and categorising all runs with that is a challenge
also, it's generally src policy to not have multiple categories that aren't possible to run anymore. in theory it could be added as a label? we'd have a lot of orphaned runs, though
in theory it could be added as a label?
Yeah that's what I'm tryna deliver. I also think you don't have to necessarily update all the runs at once to lable them for each versions and set them aside. You could prioritize leaderboards first then the orphaned runs afterwards if that is the case
As of version 3.9.6b, Notoriety devs have added a function within the settings menu to turn off Safe Escape (removing the 3s timer) and enable the Speedrun Timer (which includes milliseconds). This is objectively the best way to measure runs, now, and importantly, isn't affected by Timer Glitch.
