I hope there is still some runners here :) I'm new here, i would want to try to speedrun Muramasa: The Demon Blade on Wii, actually i'm trying to improve my fight against Ippon Datara, in Act 4

During the phase 2, he's sending some orbs and boomrangs, i've read that if you don't attack him he's sending only the boomrangs but I see that the WR capxr221 is attacking and that he's still sending only boomrangs.

When I try to do like him, the boss is sending so much orbs. Is there any tips I have to know ?

This post is two years old, so it may not be of much help to you, but I'll write down what I know.

In Ippon Datara's phase 2, it will spit out a can't bounce back mines as a counter only when a specific attack hits it.

Up attack, Air-down attack, Air Dash attack, these attacks are included.

By avoiding these attacks, can still cause damage!
