I don't remember why, but I edited a video where the fight begins after the pre-fight intro screen. It's against Mr. Sandman. I'd like to submit for a level best, but not sure if it's acceptable. Does the recording have to begin from the pre-fight intro screen or is it okay to start from the bell (not the official start, but when Mr. Sandman begins to demonstrate the Dreamland Express)?

I can do again, but since I have the recording from 2 months ago, would rather not, lol.

New ruleset means a video submitted must also include from the last point of reset. You can still use any of the Pass Key's to get to any fight you want. This is to prevent the possible use of save states.

It's a good policy. I've always wondered how legit some of the NES Classic records were. I'm 35 so I don't even bother with save states in games like Zelda 2, but my buddy who is 25 uses them like they're second nature and always asks me why I don't. I tell him that it doesn't even occur to me because for over 20 years I never used it. I'll use them for games I never played back in the day and just want to get to the ending, but for something I legit owned and beat 30 years ago, I don't need no damn save state, lol.
