1:44 (RT 2:08:36) Hypermode (aka, Hard mode) Any% run of Metroid Prime Trilogy (US Version, WiiU VC). World Record as of Oct 2020.
Though there is some ugliness throughout, overall it’s a very smooth run. Ridley went excellent, Essence went well, Exo went poorly. Left 1:43 on the table due to bad performance (and luck) during Exo. If I could do Hive Mecha Skip in Hypermode, do better on Eco, and fix some mistakes — I think 1:39 is feasible with this route. With Early Space Jump, the floor for Hypermode Any% is probably around 1:35 or so (unless much better endgame boss strats/tricks are discovered).
Finished with 52% -- 75 missiles (and Ice Spreader), 7 PBs, and 7 energy tanks. Found that 75 missiles a great sweet spot of only needing to fetch very quickly-gettable (cost 10 sec IGT or less) tanks while also having decent firepower for Ridley and Exo fight (Ridley air form goes best if you get at least 3 refills during the fight, for a total of 105 missiles)
