hi. seems like some runs start with getting the banuk hunter bow after gathering bluegleam. my feeling is that this should be avoided since it’s not in the original game and not meant to be available early. curious to hear your thoughts.
We have just always allowed DLC items in main game since they can be available to everyone (unlike the pre-order bows) and the only purchasable version of the game now comes with the DLC included. Feel free to do your own runs without though, we have had multiple runners without the DLC still doing runs. If you'd like, you can join the discord and continue discussing with others.

elk your runs are great keep it up, been borrowing your strategies to improve my play (I don’t speedrun HZD, just play ultra hard main missions and try not to die, and I watch all the movies every time).
wanted to ask another question, is aim assist allowed for these runs, and if so, do you use it? I posted this question generally and it seems like the community decides game to game on aim assist.
Aim assist is allowed on all categories. In Ultra Hard you can't use because the game won't let you. We don't have any special rules about it (as far i'm aware of).
