The boards have always allowed using PS2 and PS3 backwards compatibility, but the platforms available when submitting runs didn't reflect this.
So now, they are available. Existing runs will need to be updated to reflect this change, so expect runs to go out of visibility and back while this is ongoing.
Have you wanted to have seperate competition for each boat in every track? Thanks to the work of JBFCrasher, this is now a reality with the Single Track Extended Leaderboards! Due to the way SRC works, it is not very practical to implement seperate competition for each of the 13 boats on every track. But JBFCrasher has made a custom website tailored to this purpose.
The boards are here. Multiple versions are currently available to submit to: https://jbfcrasher.com/hydrothunder/records.html
Runs are submitted using this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfRMDeM_B3YiWMJzdg4DMGNc6ZiFdf4vPx7z9JmmLSwncWl3Q/viewform
What is finally starting to get somewhere over the last couple of weeks, a comprehensive guide that will break down everything there is to know about running this game, with all version differences accounted for, for the most accessibility.
It is being worked on in two formats. One will be commentated videos, and the other being in text form. It is still rather early in the creation process with a lot of work yet to be done. This game just has a LOT to cover, so it will be some time before it's completed.
Currently, only the text version is up, with the first couple of parts posted, out of 16 planned. The next several are already in varying stages of completion. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1GR_NlZBzty1OxsKemLXfJVBonmoYq48ApezpJ7QUvUM This will be added to the Guides section when it's more complete.
The video versions will take a lot longer to make, but hopefully they will start popping up throughout 2022.
Shoutouts to JBFCrasher and inphlox, who have helped out as i'm putting this all together.
