So is it allowed to have flatout joint installed into the game when speedrunning if you dont use anything thats in the mod
Pretty sure it's not. You can never tell what is being affected by the mod, when some weird shenanigans happen, if you can chalk it up to the game itself or the fact that it's content has been changed. Just stick to using unmodified game for runs)
welp thanks swoop i have to install the game again then since i do have the mods installed but they are only visual and adds more cars
Tbh I would rather not use such a big mods for runs, because, as Swoop said above, it will be easier to clarify if run is/is not legit. You can use Car Skins mods tho, if you want
Hey, thanks for the question. Generally it's always preferred that there would be no mods. Visual mods and widescreen fixes and whatnot are allowed though. But also, we are just a "small" group of people doing this for fun. So to assume that anyone would want to cheat here isn't really a thing that I would be concerned about. No one is getting anything out of this.
Regardless, it just simplifies things for everyone if no one has mods. As Miles said, easier for mods to clarify that everyone is legit and no one starts pointing fingers. We are also far more active on Discord if you are interested in joining.
