I have immensely enjoyed the Final Fantasy IX speedruns at GDQ, ESA, and RPG Limit Break over the years. After several playthroughs following Muttski's guide to Petroesjka's route, I am happy to have finally completed a full run of my own.

I reset once against Hilgigars, as I was about to die to his devastating Earthquake spell. As well, I forgot to equip Bird Killer on Zidane before Gizamaluke, which meant his damage output was 1.5x less for the fight. Later, I mistakenly did not buy the Minerva's Plate in Pandemonium, an important item for Freya's defenses in the late game. Other than these, I do not believe I made any significant mistakes.

It is not a top time, but I am nonetheless very proud of my accomplishment. I do not often have the chance to play games uninterrupted for several hours, so I do not know the next time I will do this. But nonetheless, this was a lot of fun.
