I apologize in advance if this is out of place or already known information. Playing on the GBA version, doing nothing special. Galufs' job is Blue Mage. In the Forest of Moore, when Galuf and Exdeath face off, I had Galuf use the Blue magic Self-Destruct and it skipped everything scripted about the fight. No legnthy dialog, just straight out of the fight, and right into the next cutscene.

That is something you can do to end the fight quickly, correct. The speedrun does slmething similar with using Phoenix Down while we have Bone Mail equipped. Basically, causing the death status effect instead of losing health in that battle still ends it.

I see. That is much more efficient than collecting blue magic.
