Hello. This thread is to inform everyone about a new rule.

Exploits are NOT allowed to be used to remove the anti-cheat for your runs. Any third party source injected into the Roblox client is not allowed. This will include the use of FPS unlocker, speed “glitch” scripts, and again, anti-cheat removal. Any runs made prior to these new rules will remain on the board.

What I do know is that Jaxsqn ain't getting any of his runs in here unless

having a good pc and monitor is now basically useless, but i guess you can flex "i had to lower my fps for a speedrun"

I can imagine suffering from ghosting and stuttering when trying to speedrun with a 144Hz monitor

Backjumping is so annoying now tho

banning fps unlocker is stupid but also NECESSARY at really high fps it really starts to change the game and can make your character run faster. Even if you're only running 2% faster than usual, that is a third party device that not everyone has access/ability to use and makes, even if only slight, a disadvantage to people who do not use fps unlocker.

The use of fps unlocker puts people at a disadvantage - period. The fact that world records would need to be removed because of it and people say they’re having trouble doing tricks because of it shows that. Not sure why this comes as a shock to people.

fps unlocker puts mobile, Xbox, and people who just generally decide not to use fps unlocker at a disadvantage and there is no reason whatsoever to continue to allow it if people truly want a fair leaderboard. If you can’t play or speedrun without it, that’s on you for getting yourself used to a third party tool. The decision is not being reversed and there will not be a special category for any third party tools, ever.
