Here's some ideas:
this game isn't exactly the most active, I'm the only person to run these categories that I know of, but maybe people want to compete outside of any%. Should I make these into categories? At least it will make these runs easily accessible.

A few more proposed ideas for categories that have been tossed around mostly by tundra, songbirder, and me.
101% deathless- all items, lord rank, no deaths (tundra insists that this sounds like fun)
2boots- some variant of either only allowing 2 wing boots for the whole run, or only using them specifically when they are necessary.
all bosses- kill every boss in the game at least once; this would most likely be defined as every room that plays the boss music. I believe this would be: -mattock wyvern -elixir rock vaulter -pendant wyvern -black onyx bone dog -battle suit bone dog -battle helm bone dog -king grieve -evil one
One additional idea - I know on some Twitch chats we've talked about having a run with the pendant fix somehow, either via set password or rom patch. But last night hungrygoriya reminded me that there's a Game Genie code that fixes the bug, and that could be a viable Category Extension I think. (Code is EYNEOAEI, as seen in this video )
Also, FYI, the Eolis Password% JP version category isn't actually possible (there are no passwords in that version), should probably be removed :)
JP does have passwords as far as I can tell? Same "Start"/"Continue" options on the title screen for me. Only difference is that they're called "prayers" instead of "mantras," and they use the kana keyboard (same as name entry).
Hah, I dunno how I got that into my head, might have just read that somewhere and didn't test it. Never mind :)
If we added Eolis password % (Big 20's got this as the challenge this year)... I'd probably return to running this again. :)
