DESRU is an open source helper tool for doom eternal speedrunner developed by bowsr ( https://www.speedrun.com/user/bowsr ) who also helped develop the autosplitter. It contains tools such as the approved speedrun macro, framerate capping, internet blockage and cheat detection.
Due to a recent vote done on our discord server, it has been decided that this tool will be required for all runs performed on windows in the near future. However, there will be a grace period of 1 week where runs done on windows will still be accepted without DESRU in case major issues are discovered, in order to give bowsr enough time to address them. Please do not wait. Please start using DESRU as soon as possible

A month ago, it was brought to our attention that the full collection of codexes, which is required for the campaign 100% and 100% Natural Masteries categories, is not possible with our current rules. For example, the extra lives tutorial codex cannot be acquired in the Ultra-Nightmare difficulty. T
