Got tired of being in third place, so I just casually broke sub-30

Waterfall Get - Straightforward.

Flowers - This split is mostly about being bold. Nothing too weird.

Warp Get - I die a few times and miss a jump, but it only costs me 7.5 seconds overall.

Key Piece 1 - This cave is full of fast resets, and I hit them all perfectly for an 11-second gold on this split.

Secret Switch 1 - All about being bold again, but then I make a dumb mistake and lose almost 15 seconds.

Key Piece 2 - A little sloppy, but nothing egregious.

Secret Switch 2 - Two big mistakes cost me 11 seconds in this section.

Key Piece 3 - Tight play here.

Secret Door - Despite one small time loss in the yellow key room at 20:34, this went extremely well and got me gold by 8.5 seconds, putting me ahead in this run by 4.4!

Bad Mushroom - Now here's my dirty secret: I've been practicing the secret ending challenge for about two years, just doing it over and over and over on one monitor while watching YouTube on the other screen in order to get the muscle memory down. I knew this split was the hardest part and even good runs end up choking here, so I knew my best bet for getting a WR would be to have an extremely tight Bad Mushroom run. And boy did it pay off! Gold by almost a minute and a nearly 2.5 minute time save over my PB run!

My sum of best is 28:41 so maybe I'll try for a sub-29 run.
