I've already played this game/collected everything in a save file, can I use this file or would I start a new one to document my next run? Obviously it wouldn't be a 100% run but could it by used for any% if I time myself playing the levels? Sorry if this is a really stupid question lol.

but short answer is no, when you start an Any% run (or a 100% run for the matter) it has to be on a clean file, your timer should start when you select your clean file and start your game
