Could you please add the first stage to the individual levels leaderboard? Also there isn't really a difference between 'Casual' and 'Normal' so I recommend you change it to Any% and 'Nightmare' to Any% Nightmare.

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I will definitely add an IL leaderboard. I was kinda wondering the same thing about whether or not to just combine Casual and Normal, so I'll go with your suggestion and combine the two. Thanks again for the feedback!

I added an IL leaderboard. I'm open to suggestions here. As of now I put the start time as when you gain control of the character, and end time as the last hit on the boss of the stage. Here's some information before I get to some questions. The game will feature a level select on the title screen. If you end up beating the game, all levels will be unlocked, so you can play any level from the title screen as long as the game is beaten. So my questions are:

  1. Should IL runs only be valid from selecting a level from the title screen, or should we allow IL runs from full game runs? It might not seem like there will be a difference, but there is one major difference. If you're playing the level in a full run, you will start with the subweapon that you finished with in the previous level. This could potentially give an advantage since if you select a level from the title screen, you won't start with a subweapon. Or do we just simply allow both?

  2. For IL runs, should time start when you gain control of the character or when you see Stage X on screen? It would make it easier to time if it's when you see Stage X on screen if you're just grinding IL times from the title screen. I think time should end no matter what on the last hit of the boss.

I might be overthinking this, but let me know what you (or others) think.

Btw did the first stage go through some major changes in the full game? If it did I recommend you add a seperate category for the demo

Hey,

So to answer your questions, the first level didn't go through major changes between the demo and the eventual release (disclaimer: I am one of the developers for the game). So there shouldn't have to be a separate category for the demo. I will go with your rules for IL, I do think they would be the simplest. As of now, the speedrun mode only supports full game runs, but we will plan on adding IL categories in the speedrun mode, and therefore we could use in game timers for it.
