We have discord only for doom kex, can create some channels for speedrunning, like more categories, just need more people!
The official Discord server for all speedrun.com-supported classic Doom ports is already well-established and linked at the top of this webpage; I will also link here: https://discord.gg/CaxmcJkv4d. I recommend anyone interested in being active in the community be a member of the official Discord; we've cultivated the Console Doom community (wow, that name has become less accurate, hasn't it?) and Discord server for several years now and make all official updates and announcements in the server.
There's nothing wrong with making your own communities or servers, but I would advise against attempting to establish a server to parallel an already existing (and official) one.
