actually useful. I never bothered to learn how to do the specific melee attacks because i always thought just charging the special and launching it was fastest. xD

XD I tried a run doing that. I used bao zakeruga for most of the things and it seemed to be consistent in its speed, but slower than just going in hard. I have been testing using just regular zaker here and there and it seems to be making things faster. This is especially true for the last boss where she mainly spams her melee attack. I was able to get the time down to 10:29 using this method. Just waiting for authentication. The hardest thing I have found in this run is just the rng factor. you never know what attack the opponent is going to use, or if the opponent is going to dash at the start of the match. And while the opponents only have so many attacks in their pool, Its been making it harder for me to come up with consistent strategy's for fights past the second one.
