My current knowledge:

Screamer Stun Dodge

Description: If you press your melee button while running, you will perform a dash move. When timed correctly before the scream of a screamer, you can dodge the stun, allowing you to run past the screamer and save ~3.4 seconds. credit: u/alfabozs

Heavy Weapon Teleport Description: If you spam your aim down sights button at a heavy weapon from a distance, and spam the pick up weapon button while spamming your aim down sights button, you can pick up the weapon. This could be useful for getting heavy weapons to places you should not be allowed to. credit: Tyshoe

Rift Animation Skip

Description: If you hold a heavy weapon while sealing a rift, you will skip the animation to close the rift, which saves ~3.2 seconds. credit: MagicBanannaz#3453

Double Generator on Death Canal

In gates of hell on 2. Death Canal, you can repair both generators at the same time. This is easiest to achieve in co-op, as multiple people can watch both generators, but it is optional to do in solo as well. Each generator takes 2 full minutes to repair from the moment you put the fuse in to the moment it is fully repaired. Assuming you repair both at the same exact time, you would save around 2 minutes... but if you perform this in solo, you cannot save 2 full minutes. This is because after you start the first generator, it takes time to run from to the other generator and start it up. If you do this strat, you should save about 1 minute and 30 seconds.

If there are no heavy weapons around, you can also do the following:

  • Before rifts open, use special melee attack, so it goes into cooldown
  • While closing the rift, use the special melee attack (but it doesnt work, so you only use the melee

Its one thing I observed, but it should spare you a few seconds if you dont have any heavy weapons around. Heavy weapons will cost you some speed though

Not sure if this still works but there was a way to have infinite brain buster with the revolver pistol (where time slows down and you mark heads before popping them all in a row) and I think you just have to special melee the moment you hit the final head to cancel it out and have it again so you can repeat it forever! Feel free to let us know if this still works, here's one of the first IL runs of ZA4 and also the only one I know of which utilized it!

Ok so loadouts for the run could be different for each level because of dialog and horde amounts. I've noticed that Dead Ahead with the mortar shotgun is really really crazy because if you know where the zombies spawn when you get those blood seal or survive events you could just shoot it where they spawn and use the fire upgrade to fire and forget. There might be a way to use it in a full run (mainly switching from it and any other weapon) because of some safe houses have dialog at the start so you could switch really quickly. I am really just throwing out ideas because some runs times could go down like fast.

For the last level on Death Canal you can do both generators at the same time and it is straight up faster. The zombies don't even go for them if you are up by the switch, they'll go for you instead.
