Hello to all Yo-kai Watch speedrunners. I also love this saga, I love it more than anyone it is my favorite of all the sagas, I already played the YW1 (My PB playing normal in the Spanish version, without doing speedruns without skipping anything is 5 hours and 12 minutes), and I just saw the 2 hour and 5 minute WR, seeing it it occurred to me that maybe a 2 hour sub could be done on Yo-Kai Watch 1. You (all, and especially the YW1 professionals) think it can be done sub 2 hours on YW1?
I think it COULD potentially be done, but it would be really demanding considering what we have at our disposal in terms of time saves. I would say it might be possible, but I don't know if it will be done. And if it does happen, that will probably take months at the bare minimum, assuming no large skips are discovered before that point. As for if it's possible with passwords/Yo-kai cam/qr codes, I don't think it would make much of a difference because any time it even could save is also weighed down by a greater amount of rng. Those are my thoughts.
It could be, but we would need: A - God-like luck (Perfect Roughraff, Sawtooth Stag, boss moves, etc.), B - Insane Skill (perfect movements, never messing up IAE) and 3 - Another skip or 2.
Honestly, I think Nerdy is who I would consider the overall best runner for the series at the moment. Considering how many games he runs, WRs he has, and just how well he does in each game.
