Rules:

• timing starts as soon as you hit “START” at the beginning of the game • using passwords is not allowed • timing ends after Level 9 (Taxifahrt), when the final cutscene at the airport starts (1st frame that's not completely white)

General info/tech:

• skip conversations by pressing START on the end of the first textbox • hold START whenever you see your score card in tournaments to speed up the process • most animals in this game deal damage, be careful not to be damaged too much • heal with apples whenever you feel your current health might not be enough

Level 1 – Rosenborg

• immediately head south 1 screen and go around the house to enter • talk to Mom and exit again • head south 1 screen, walk through the open gate and exit the screen to the east • enter the barn, talk to Dad and exit again • head back to Mom, talk to her and exit again • exit the screen to the south and avoid the geese • following the big road there’s a way leading south east just beneath the fence, exit to the south • avoid the sheep and exit to the east • avoid the rats, pick up the bucket and head back to the big road • on the big road exit to the west, then exit the screen to the north • on the pool screen exit west (try to do that hugging the tree north west to the pool to avoid the bees) • walk all the way north on the screen with the bees and press A at the feeding station to feed the ducks • head back to the pool screen and heal if necessary, exit the pool screen to the east • enter the house, talk to Mom and make your way to the far south west of the map (follow the big road) • be aware of the dog, he deals lots of damage – press A at the mailbox

Level 2 – Dressurtraining

• the practice session consists of 5 different parts • before each part your trainer shows how it’s done, skip that with START • the first 3 parts can be done in full speed (hit A to increase your speed, B to decrease your speed) • try to remember the layout of each of the parts & when to switch to which “gear” of the horse • make sure to hit the colored orbs as good as you can, you will be rated after each part – and if you fail you have to repeat the failed part • there will be no score card at the end of the last part of the practice session

Level 3 – Dressurturnier

• remember what you learned in the practice session • you will win the tournament if you have >2000 points • intentionally switch to full speed right at the beginning to speed up the slow (yellow) part You’ll get an error point and lose points, but if you don’t make any more mistakes and hit the orbs correctly, you’ll still win! • You will be disqualified if you reach 10 error points or hit the outer wall of the arena!

Level 4 – Hufschmied

• exit the screen to the south and clear all 3 dialogues with START • be aware of the black chicken and exit the screen to the south again • enter the smith’s workshop, talk to him and exit again • head back to where you came from and talk to Domino (black horse) • you will be teleported to the workshop again – after the dialogues: exit • walk west 2 screens, but be aware of the rabbits – they deal damage • on the 2nd screen exit north at the far west fence & enter the geese parcour to the west The more health you have, the faster you can pass through this by getting hit intentionally

• 1st geese screen: walk west, exit to the west • 2nd geese screen: walk west, exit to the south • 3rd geese screen: heal if necessary. Beyond the apple choose the top path leading east & exit east • 4th and last geese screen: walk east & use the middle exit to the east (has 2 stones on it)

• collect the hammer, push the plank over the gap and exit to the east • head east again, heal if almost out of health • enter the smith’s workshop and talk to him

Level 5 – Springqualifikation

• the faster you hit A, the faster you get • press B to jump – don’t jump too early or too late, the frame windows are not too precise, though • try to remember when the obstacles appear and how much speed you need to pass them • you are allowed to get an error point, but you need a very good time in order to get >2000 points that way

Level 6 – Springturnier

• basically the same as Level 5, but with other obstacles and a little longer • knowledge is key • you will be disqualified if you reach 10 error points!

Level 7 – Wild West Club

• walk through the gate & head north, enter the store • talk to the store guy, exit the shop and head west • enter the saloon, talk the barkeeper (twice!) and exit • get the ladder outside the saloon and head north • head north all the way and exit to the west • walk south & press A at the cliff to use the ladder • cross the cliff and head north west • head west all the way and exit to the north

• now the biggest troll of the run: the capricorn • you need to get on top of the mountain by following the road • unfortunately you will have to start at the bottom again when the capricorn hits you • since the capricorn’s patter is random you either have to pray he doesn’t hit you or you pause buffer (hit Start, walk a few frames, hit Start, walk a few frames….) until you get to the top. • You will lose runs here, don’t let it get to you

Update 12.08.2023:

  • you can mash A before entering the capricorn area and keep mashin A until you are at the top. always hit the top wall - this way the capricorn should almost always let you pass (we estimate >75% consistency)

• At the mountain top grab the lasso and head back to the capricorn • let it hit you and you’ll be at the bottom again, exit to the south • exit to the south again • enter the mine and navigate through to the exit • right after exiting head east and press A at the fence to start the 2 minute cow catching game (someone please find a way to skip that!) • you have to catch at least 20 cows in order to get recognized as a cowgirl • make your way back to the saloon & talk to the barkeeper

Level 8 - Geländeritt

• you need to get >3000 points in order to win • the faster you hit A, the faster you get • press B to jump – don’t jump too early or too late • avoid jumping at strange angles, because you’re not allowed to touch the red/yellow flags of the parcour • this time you have to change directions, too (this is basically a combination of Levels 2/3 & Levels 5/6) • and again: map knowledge is the key to not failing this

Level 9 – Taxifahrt

• hit A as fast as possible • don’t hit cars or other obstacles – you’ll have to repeat the whole level if you do. • Enter the airport
