Because some minigames are played with an master cpu (2v2) . It's the same in Mario Party Superstars and it's not a problem.

Hello, Has someone attempted to run this? It is the limit of points you can have in VS mode if you select "libre" (in French) in the options of the mode. The settings should be: 150cc, hard, in order, "libre", no team and start with the 8 figure circuit and finish when the leaderboard is actualised after getting 999pts.

It will meaning create categories for others languages. It's possible for the run in Japanese in some games (like gen 5) but I don't think it would be done for Sword and shield because current Japanese runners play in English
