That's a relief! Thanks!
@goldenONX no need to apologize, I'll be able to beat the time, I just wanted to be clear about the rules. The main reason I ask is I recorded a career speedrun this week on PS3 that took 7+ hours with load times, and I'm sure there are points where the timer HUD dips in and out. I have a LiveSplit timer running through the duration of the entire run, will that suffice for a career run or does it need to be HUD timer and LiveSplit visible the whole time?
@FacialVomitTurleFights agreed about track cuts, I initially started doing these runs as 20 lap races but moved to Time Attack after since it doesn't count the lap times when the track is cut.
Thanks for your feedback everyone!
I had a run rejected because the HUD dipped in and out due to mis-presses on the PS controller, which unfortunately can't be un- or de-bound. If in-game HUD timer visibility is a requirement for lap runs, could the speedrun rules for the game please be updated to include that information and any other "unspoken" rules?
Thanks!
