It's this specific game here, which includes Frogger. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Konami_Collector%27s_Series:_Arcade_Advanced
I like this idea and glad you all implemented it. :D Makes you wonder where the threshold is of what level you aught to stop throwing Tetrises at and start focusing on singles is, somewhere in between 9 and 9 <3 depending on player.
Re: 1st post, good to know. Re: New, yep, I am. Just submitted my first runs for Tetris today so I'm new to this game in a speedrunning sense. Re: Off-screen, no, used Gambatte in Linux, recorded via OBS. I may do capture card recording though once I get a SGB2/SNES/1.0. And will do regardless. :)
Are there any rules regarding the Tetris version played? There seems to be a mechanical difference between 1.0 and 1.1 regarding directional input during a line clear, where 1.0 lets you setup for the next block slightly earlier as it doesn't stop directional inputs during it. Seems minor so wasn't sure if it's considered a big deal or not, was considering picking up a copy eventually but didn't know if it would affect a run.
After more practice I definitely agree, lol. Thank you!
Hey all, are there any restrictions on what emulator can be used for submissions for this game?
New runner as well, I'm finding practicing World 6 a lot to be helping as that's where Any% turns ridiculous, lol
Usually ports by the game developer to other consoles don't usually count as Emu in other games on Speedrun, so if you're looking to go emu-free I would think you'd be fine with the Switch version.
Hi all, mainly curious on opinions, starting to speedrun this game. I notice a lot of you go for flower right off the bat, is it feasible at all to run this game as small?
