I don't have that much more than you (760, i7 4ghz) and I'm able to get all of the fps dependent jumps no problem. The key is making the game look like absolute dogshit (unfortunately) so head into the settings and start dropping everything.
Doing some derusting and learning the new Any% strats. I've replicated both Extodasher and Azorae's runs (oob trigger and QR code) and I can't get paint to spawn in A6. Is it only a chance that paint will spawn in A6 or am I doing something wrong?
Not playing on modded version.
Low settings will also help with some of the trickier jumps in the game, like some of the paint bucket strats for example. Certain jumps are significantly easier with higher FPS, so get it as high as you can by making the game look like garbage :D
It's a bit of a weird barrier to entry but you have to register through an IRC channel. Twig made 3 guide videos on how to register an SRL account, set your stream, and how to use RaceBot etc.
