I guess most of us are playing in windowed mode, so we can see the game and the splits (and stuff for streaming).

For livesplit, make sure that "enable global hotkeys" option is checked, i know it seems obvious, but i got trolled because of that since it's disabled when you launch it for the first time (and i'm retarded :^) ). If you realy can't fix it, maybe you can try one of those good old timers (like wsplit or llanfair).

We don't use the ingame timer actually, we start, stop (and split) the timer manually for full game runs.

Sorry, but this is actualy the best meme category for portal, it's for fun, and nobody is playing it anyway.

Then, rules of this category just says that you need "some kind of proof in form of a video, demos and/or a screenshot of your splits". If a screenshot of the splits is ok, I don't see why a video with the actual splits is not, even if it's not showing the vault part.

And this run is not even world record or something and it's already 4 mounths old, and you are not even running this category, so why do you care ?

It's easier to verify if the run was scripted with demos for exemple, you can't be sure at 100% with video only sometimes.

It's actually quiet hard to say what must be considered as a glitch and what is not a glitch in this game. Glitchless rules are kinda arbitrary but the thing is we can't modify them everyday because some people don't agree with it, otherwise this category won't make sense (I mean less than now :3 )

If it's on, try to turn off vertical sync, it will be way easier then, that's the only thing I know :p

I don't know exactly how many time that save, but it skip the entire breakfirst thing and it's pretty easy to do it actually.

You just go out of bounds by climbing the sign in the garden, then you position yourself kinda in front of the garage and move backward until you fall, and once you're falling, you go forward and you will be teleported inbounds. Also, you will have to exit the game after it saved, otherwise, chloe won't be here.

This strat is already known, but nobody is doing it because it's super inconsistant, unlike Portal 2 where you can do this pretty easily :p

Scripts and macro are banned usualy (except the save/load key for some reason).

This trick apparently makes you able to create some cubes over and over, and why should we do that. I mean, I want to go fast, but I don't want to skip the entire game by doing the two same codes untill I got 32 cubes, because it's not fun.

My opinion on this glitch is it's still a cool trick and you can destroy the game with it, but because of that, we should make another category.
