Any runner who runs on PS1 has heard of the PSXfin v1.13 emulator, he is very old, but he is very controversial emulator, because he had problems and some games did not even run on it.
But one of its peculiarities that involve a lot in speedrun are its loadings screens that are faster. Because of this detail, many leaderboards don't allow this emulator, it's very rare to find.
And in Disney's Lilo & Stitch game (PS1) this emulator is also forbidden. I did a post sharing my emulator tests for you to have a notion of how the emulation has many differences: https://www.speedrun.com/disneys_lilo_and_stitch_ps1_/thread/v0gk4
I looked at the run and realized that I was using a forbidden emulator. Sorry to the runner and the moderators, but this is not right, allowing multiple emulators or the rules are not up to date can have these incidents.

Proof image (it does this several times):
I read the post https://www.speedrun.com/disneys_lilo_and_stitch_ps1_/thread/2zx9z And I wish they would add individual levels and create the Any% and 100% categories separating Console and PC.
BUT you should know that the time trial has a strange glitch that works on PS and PC, which is to pause the game in the middle of the start to skip a few seconds of time (as shown in the video below).
##Vídeo:
.
And with Stitch it also has another strange glitch, press the button for Stitch to scroll and then the pause button and restart the phase (1 frame after Stitch starts to scroll) and Stitch will start the phase without moving without stopping (as shown in the video below).

**Add the rule that it is forbidden to pause in the middle of the start and Stitch rolling at the start of the start.
That the run must start at the beginning and end of the stage, and if you have a run in the middle of the stage or show only a printout of the finished time it is rejected (the correct is that all runs must have a video of the race) **

After playing so much I decided to share these loadings tests of some emulators/old versions. Maybe these can't be the same loadings as your emulator because of my configuration, but it is interesting to know that the comparisons are quite different.

N/A (the game did not run in this version)
Testing the game, the PC version was very problematic to run today, but I found a method that doesn't even need programs like "dxwnd" and "dgVoodoo". I downloaded the game from the site "oldgamesdownload".
All the solutions I found on the internet, a site called "pcgamingwiki" solved the problems, I did all the steps and running in different ways and found the solution.
Soon I will show a tutorial on how to run the game and I discovered an exploit that runs it on a PC without a video card and without lag.
I wish they would add subcategories of the "Any%" and "100%" separating PC and Console. Because the game has almost no loadings and all loadings are instantaneous giving advantage.
Any% - PC WR 100% - PC WR
I discovered some strange glitches and tricks:

This may seem ridiculous, but what is the logic of having NG and NG+ at individual levels? The only thing I know is that on some levels you start without the cutscene at the beginning and you already have a medical kit and power crystals. Such a small difference it doesn't even save that much time, most of the time we don't even use these items and we had to press the d-pad 2/3 times to access a key.
"Any% Glitchless" is there any glitch on all levels that save time?
I have 3 questions:
Question 1: The Secret Swim, Treachery, Aktirak Flight and Save Kida levels, can I start with the game already finished?
Question 2: Shouldn't time run out when we lose control of the character/vehicle? (because in the "ice trial" level and I don't know exactly when the screen goes black, it only gives an approximate on the way)
Question 3: Do I have to analyze the time when the screen goes COMPLETELY black or in the first frame that it starts to turn black?
I was thinking a lot about the PS1 emulator, because its behavior and loading are inaccurate or slow. There are emulators that favor you regarding the loading screens and frame rate (depends on the emulator, version and your PC) which takes a big advantage and leaving the original console aside. I made a comparison video of the versions so you can get a sense that an emulator has its peculiarities and favors a lot in loadings.

The main reason why I leave a specific emulator on this learerboard is because it doesn't let people feel wronged, because you can't get WR because of loadings screens and I'm thinking of creating a "Time without loads" to make it more consistent and focuses on the runner's skill and luck.
My conclusions are:
- It is impossible for an emulator to run on the same properties as a real console because it has its own hardware while the emulator has or may have a huge variety of configurations related to textures, loading screens and this moves the speedruns community a lot, prohibit emulators, specify their versions in mandatory emulators or even ban the learedboard emulator altogether and accept only in the original way or for backward compatibility between consoles.
P.S. Read the rules before thinking about speeding a certain game.
#The simple way to leave the game in windowed mode Steps: 1 - Go to the game folder and create a shortcut of "Manhunt2.exe". 2 - Click the right mouse button on the shortcut you created going to "Properties". 3 - Go to the Shortcut Tab, in "Target" add in the empty field " -windowed" and give OK. NOTE: The window will be according to the resolution you chose in the game options, you can adjust that automatically changes the window without closing the game.
#OBSOLETE DxWnd
Hi runner, I am showing the settings in DxWnd to run the game in window mode to access LiveSplit or other tools without any problem (if you have any problems please contact my discord: Wagner Brasil#4709 and good luck).
NOTE: The tool "DxWnd" is available on the Resources tab.

#DLL + ini files
Another way to run in window mode is by passing dll or ini files, I have already made the files available in the resources tab for download and read the INFO that has a simple tutorial, but I will show them here just in case.
Pass the file "wndmode.ini" to the game folder and leave it at the resolution you want.

https://www.mediafire.com/file/h1ivnfzmsdb6cad/Windowed_Mode_%2528DLLs_%252B_ini%2529.rar/file
Adds Cheat% which is more fun
Add individual level Detail: The individual level would start in the menu in the selection of levels and not through the "one player" which is the right one. https://imgur.com/VzsvuNd And also poses difficulties as variables.
I started to note a very odd detail in the OBS recording with "Manhunt 2" the HUD, subtitles, and cheat panel did not appear in the recording.
Example image:
But I got a solution that is instead of using the "Game Capture" option use "Monitor Recording" this problem will be solved. To do this the right way I will use my gameplay as an example, I play the game at 640x480 and my monitor has a maximum resolution of 1600x900
Tutorial Video:
Hope this has helped and good luck.
Hi runner, I'm providing a complete save file with some add-ons in the "Resources" tab, the old save was just 100% of the 5 star scoring game to release extra levels and activate cheats.
But with this new save has levels you get with your ready-made weapons because it is the common starting level losing all their weapons by the game's plot and there are also levels where you start with the weapons you can in progress come.
And in the face of that came an edge on “Individual Level” to “Any Rating” or “Max Rating”.
I made a picture as an example showing the levels at which you start with the best equipment and what is the save file shown:
Save "MANHUNT0.SAV":
Save "MANHUNT7.SAV": (It's the same thing that changes are these two levels)
I hope to have helped and good luck.
So that a beginner in a recording program like me might have some problems trying to record a race with OBS, there are two problems I had, but I solved it thanks to the discord group.
1 - Scenarios/objects disappearing and appearing in the game recording.
Sample Video:
Instead of using "Monitor Recording" use "Game Capture" this problem will be solved. (Note: I have already started this error in some recording programs like "Bandicam" and "oCam")
2 - Very dark game in the recording.
Example image:
The game usually has the option of brightness to maximum, but in OBS recording it comes out completely dark, making your run "ineligible", so the solution is to increase the "Gamma" maximum through the OBS filters itself which problem will be sorted out.
Comparison Images:
There is another program that doesn't need brightness filters, which is “Fraps”, but it generates a lot of memory in any recording and doesn't make almost any settings to change it (Only the FPS that can be changed).
Comparison Images:
I hope these tips should have helped some people who are starting to speed Manhunt
P.S. Thanks to @Ignas for the tips.
Is there a link to download the game PC (TWN) and PC (JPN)?
Transfer the runs of "Low%" to "Any" because I have done a comparison of runs of @Jerardepartos, realizing that is ridiculously faster than normal and it wouldn't be funny at all.
My conclusions are:
- The main challenge to get the WR is not collecting the hearts, because it wastes a lot of time.
- Avoids takes damage on some platforms.
P.S. I apologize for these changes and continue with your runs.
I am thinking of adding new games on speedrun.com but I have one big question: can you use Open PS2 Loader (OPL)? Is he considered illegal? Can you create a sub category for it?
I have to download the game on steam or can I get it from the internet?
I had seen a forum post from the "Peter Pan in Disney Return to Neverland [PC/PS1]" leaderboard, which in the case I'm moderating, a user named @Jerardepartos noticed a very strange detail in the middle of the game, the speed the game increased in strange times for 2 or 3 seconds to start a phase.
##Video of @Jerardepartos:
.
##Video of @WagnerBrasil:
I notice this as a bug, because it only happens when we use some recording program and in the middle of the game (which in this case @Jerardepartos used "OBS" and I "Bandicam"), if we start recording it gives a few crashes and accelerates just a little, this too you notice in my run of "Any% - PC in 1:10:45.524" in very small sections. When we play without any recording program the game goes at its normal speed in all parts (in my theory if we use a capture board and plugging it into the monitor recording the game may not give those fast bugs in the middle of the run).
My conclusions are:
- There is no way to solve this problem from my point of view if anyone understands programming that can solve this problem.
- I will not specify any burning program that runners can use and that it is something mandatory, why nowadays the majority uses the "OBS".
- The game is from 2002, is not on Steam, has no updates like bug errors.
- The leaderboard is very small and does not take things seriously just because of a small bug that happens in spurious moments and not in the whole game.
P.S. Thank you for the information @Jerardepartos.
