Streamable in my experience is nonpermanent. You might as well upload it to YT. If you worried about copyright strikes, I think you can make a side-channel. That's what I do for speedruns.
You can definitely use a backwards compatible PS2 or PS3. My own runs were done on a PS2.
I've gone and updated the settings for this board so it allows you to specify what hardware you use.
As someone that just recently got the PS+ Premium and is interested in giving this game a runthrough, I'm seconding this.
nah, just pretty much stepped up to the awkward Ferrari-Frankenstein that is the Colleague.
Honestly, best timeline. The menuing and loading is so little of a factor on the run that this game is best suited to be run on IGT.
Glad I don't have to run with scuffed music anymore lol.
SplashWaveRacing is an online twitter time trial thing that cycles through a new game every week, usually specifying a specific car and a specific track that's available from a fresh file so anyone can put down a fastest lap for the car and track for the game that they specify. They allow anyone to give it a shot, and I just so happen to see it as an opportunity to do another IL run for the boards that I can get credit for.
It's all good, creativity like that is what makes playing this game interesting.
All Life Chests and All Life Chests (Cheats) can be found on the Category Extensions board here: https://www.speedrun.com/spyroce
Main difference though is the run ends on killing Gnasty.
Are there any current mods that would be game to set this up?
I feel like this game could benefit from having ILs.
I'm actually glad this got brought up. I had the same thought when I was doing my ILs.
I know we've got a very wide and expansive playerbase just ITCHING to play this game lol. But I reckon some IL leaderboards could be fun to do, and maybe use the Time Attack mode for.
It's actually astounding how many more tracks are in this game than just the 3 Grand Prix tracks. If you crack open Time Attack mode, there's 13.
So in total: Grand Prix Courses -Toon Island -Plastic Lake -Gulliver House
Match Courses -Rock Playspot -Jean Garden -Ancient City -Penguin Kingdom -Illusion Space
Dual Courses -Barren Land -Princess Village -Machine Grave -Glacier World -Strange Place
The way they work in Time Attack is that they're 2 lap races. (Except the Dual Courses, which are point-to-point). It'd be cool to have a 2-lap category and a best lap category for each.
At least, that's how I'd structure them. This whole thing is just a potential suggestion/kind-of request. Just wanted to put the idea forward.
Hello!
This is a game I've been wanting to play for a long time but could not due to language barrier. There has recently been a fan translation into English for this game. If I were to put down a run in this game using that fan translation, would you consider it legal?

This is coming in the mail sometime this week, and I was wondering if there was anything I should know before diving into this and trying out a run.
Another gamer joins the board. Well done.
I know I'm necroposting in a thread that's been dead for a year, but I think this would be an amazing thing to consider implementing. I'd love to see speedruns using low-tier characters.
