These type of categories have been hosted on cyberscore since the dawn of time with decently active competition. https://cyberscore.me.uk/game/390 Anything non-RTA is not needed here, Boss Battles and Target Smash are only here because the original mods added it, cyberscore hosts the real history and active competition for them. PM/P+ has them because its not an official game so cyberscore will not host a page for it.

We don't need a resource for a category that's mostly pure RNG in terms of characters/stages, its just 14 splits, people will not have a hard time clicking Insert Below to create them. I can assure you no one downloaded them, this is not an active speedgame nor do people run much outside of Subspace. I've never been a fan of anyone submitting resources and guides besides the moderators and top runners of a game.

Over the last weekend in the discord server runners gave a unanimous vote on having the DSTA highlighted rule recommended rather than be required. This change is now administered, no runs will be removed, but we have the option to take extra steps in verification if a run shows signs of suspicion directly correlating to this change, which can result in serious consequences if our questions go unanswered.

Discussion on this ruling was made during July of this year in #rule-discussion on the discord server. It was never settled that highlighting a run to show DSTA setup is recommended or required, but currently the rule in place makes it a requirement. I will initiate more discussion in the discord server about if it is preferred to have the rule recommended, or required, and encourage anyone here to participate. We want to prevent mods such as Auto DSTA and others that are considered cheating from interfering with the setup, lessening loads, changing gameplay mechanics, etc. which is why an option for having the rule removed is not included. This discussion will have a straightforward conclusion when it is clear what option the community believes is best. As of now, no runs will be removed.

We aren't just going to remove a part of the run... Regardless of Whack-A-Bot, the thousandths millisecond is hidden from stage clear while adding towards the final time, so if someone were to be near rolling a neighbor second, it will be impossible to conclude the actual time (unless shown as their Best Time for that character). All they need to do is include clear time after Vlad with all 3 millisecond digits. We just have to deal with this until the developers notice, I've posted in their server many bug reports on how bad this system is, nothing more we can do.

While nearing the end of his 100% TAS in June of 2023, DyllonStej had figured out that by utilizing the Pause Glitch, it will work similarly for the end of ambushes (known as the Reverse Pause Glitch) as well as ambush-activated autoscrollers (known as the Notoscroller). This version will unlock the player's or autoscroller's set camera after the ambush and can extend the outer blast zones tremendously depending on enemy and item locations, the only difference is the pause frame seems to be a couple frames before the final enemy or enemies perish. https://twitter.com/DStejGaming/status/1667056623926272002

The affected levels with Reverse Pause Glitch RTA timesave include (most links are dead, check respective IL WRs, RPGs were performed in all RTA viable levels except TBF/TLS/Ruins/Swamp RPG 2):

Some levels will always be incomparable due to positioning and global timers but the rough estimate comes out to be ~3m14s or ~3m26s on PAL and ~4m25s or ~4m37s on NTSC (~3m05s or ~3m17s on PAL and ~4m16s or ~4m28s on NTSC not counting The Lake Shore if fight Pause Glitch is achieved).

It is currently understood that the unlocked camera's path is dependent on the surrounding enemies/items which can aggro the camera meaning there are still active blast zones based on the radius from the furthest enemy/item until everything is defeated and despawned/picked up. Items currently known to influence the camera include: Super/Poison Mushroom, Hammer/Golden Hammer, Heart Container, Maxim Tomato, Stock Ball, Blast Box, and Superspicy Curry. Some levels may ignore these items (The Plain ignores all but Super/Poison Mushroom, all listed levels ignore Heart Container and Maxim Tomato).

Your earliest runs were submitted 25 days ago. If you check in recent runs the latest verified runs were submitted 25-29 days ago, so no run that has been submitted after yours has been verified, you are about next in line. Verification takes a few weeks to a month for both Odyssey boards.

He started the timer .13 early so that time is removed. RTA timer is always irrelevant as classic ILs are based on IGT anyway.

USB Loader stated in the rules for any EMU subcategory (as well as any game mode that provides an in-game timer) is allowed, it had been like this since July 2021 from a stickied post at the top of our forum page (https://www.speedrun.com/ssbb/thread/dw4cs). Regarding 100%, there hasn't been any interest to add an EMU category for 100%, but I could implement it in hopes there will be more. Please submit under 100% EMU with video proof.

While in the midst of continuing his 100% TAS in February of 2023, DyllonStej had found 2 methods to skip most of the large rock autoscroller that blocks off a 100% door for both entering the door earlier https://twitter.com/DStejGaming/status/1624965333155979264 and falling down to progress in the stage earlier as well. https://twitter.com/DStejGaming/status/1624978378590720000 While the wall bonk method for entering the door earlier is impossible on Easy, it is possible on higher difficulties due to the rock's increased gradual speed. However, the second clip of falling down to progress in the stage earlier is possible on Easy with 9 frames of leeway by jumping to ceiling bonk into the rock. This saves 10 seconds for 100%, along with another ~5-8 seconds with the first clip on higher difficulties.

The conversation from the discord server is still ongoing after you left. I would of liked to add a No DLC/DLC subcategory for NG Any%/100% but we can't add subcategories to subcategories (having No DLC/DLC run through all of WoL wouldn't make sense) so I think it would be best to remove the NG DLC runs, according to Riparo its just 3 runners other than his own NG runs that would be affected. I was never made aware of this issue by any runner before.
