Is XB1/Rare Replay acceptable for the individual level categories since the in game timer would not be benefitted by the lag reduction? I'd like to run the ILs but don't have access to hardware. Thanks!

Hello. I am requesting moderator status for https://www.speedrun.com/crashntheboys - I have a run pending for 21 days, the current mod has been offline for a year, is inactive on social media and appears to have deleted their twitch and discord. Thank you.

I run a LOT of games so I typically have to make a ton of highlights. I mostly run NES and it's generally a rule to start a video submission from a reset or power cycle. I generally do it for other consoles too, I just had a brain fart in this one I guess. :p

@adrianus - Here's an extended vod. It shows the title screen and 3 minutes of basically me rambling before the run starts. I would usually reset to get a fresh start for a video but I'm not sure why I didn't in this instance.

I probably cut the video wrong, I can extend it back to the reset point if you'd like.

Past that it seems to be a different seed generation, possibly frame based or otherwise not as "loose" as the NES version. I don't think I was able to force any specific seed on GB.

Congrats right back on the huge re-bop! I don't think I have the patience to farm for optimal exits. :P

I personally don't think this needs to be a category as it seems like an arbitrary restriction to impose. Bunting is a strategic and integral part of baseball in general and while it does have cheese potential in some games, I feel that excluding it is not entirely necessary.

The above games are WR runs and are moderated by rantronbomb. He has been off the site for a while now. I tried contacting on Discord to no avail.

I would like to be added to those boards as a moderator. I would also be willing to help moderate other boards he's on (which is a sizeable number!) to help get through any potential back log of run submissions, to see if he will return. I have a lot of time on my hands and enjoy helping out the NES speedrun community as a whole. I have a lot of knowledge about most NES games (thanks to my old collector days) even if I haven't run them yet. I'd be willing to discuss this in private as well if necessary.

I think it might be cool to have a 3 ball category. I know it's basically just Speed Pool with 12 fewer balls, but some people might like a shorter run or something. I recorded a time to show what a run would look like:
