I decided to split the platforms.

The first reason behind this was simple: I've tested both, and I've seen a significant difference in load times, which makes it a bit hard to compete. Another reason is that the emulator, other than giving better load times, can be a really bad when it wants, since it emulates pretty bad - I've seen many graphical and audio glitches, so the bad emulation is what made me think about splitting the platforms.

Sorry for not answering earlier. Felony 11-79 is the name of the game outside of Japan. It's the same game.

I'd like to request moderator status for https://www.speedrun.com/Runabout

The moderator for that game has been inactive for a while in the site, and he doesn't even have a run in the leaderboards. I started running the Runabout playstation games a while back and I got mod in 2 and 3 thanks to a friend who used to run the boards, the leaderboards needed some changes, and so do these. The current moderator for Runabout 1 is inactive in both twitter and twitch/youtube and has been for a long while. He's only been inactive in srcom for 2 months, and I know the rule says 3 months, but he's mod for a game he doesn't even have runs for.

I just gotta say something, I dunno why but I submitted Infamous 1/2 and I my brain didn't make the connection that this is a shooter marathon, so I submitted another game that I'd be willing to run again (BioShock 2 Minerva's Den), I prepared it for ESA but it didn't go through cuts.

After looking at the schedule, I can't be more thankful. Not only did my run get in, almost all the hispanic people got their run in, and that's nice, finally 1 ESA where it's not only 2 spanish people going. Tbh though, I was thinking my run was gonna be so early, and even though I didn't want it that early, I'll work with it. I'll have time to practice at least, so I'll try to do a really good run :)

Update: Haven't been able to do a lot of Infamous lately, but the last few weeks, the runs that weren't PBs were sub 3:05. I won't be able to do runs until next week, so right after the cuts. But well, I plan on getting a new PB, and then go for 2:55 or even sub 2:55.

Well, had to say it at some point just in case my run gets in, or Lagpu's, since he's going to ESA with me. We'll be arriving there pretty late the first day of the event, so if you guys consider our runs, well, have that in mind, we couldn't get better flights so we're arriving kinda late.

Also, I wanted to say that I probably won't be very active from now until the first or the second week of May. Anyway I think I did very good with my grinding until now, and I feel very consistent (today I did a run, not a PB, but it ended up being a 3:00:51, and I made some really bad mistakes, so the estimate I set is really good). I'll try to PB, but I won't have as much time to stream anymore because of college work.

Updated the submission with my latest PB (I just got it, the run was good but things happened) I also lowered the estimate to 3:10:00. That should be more than enough.

Some small update - changed the estimate for Infamous to 3:15:00. I'm sure I could sub 3:10, but you never know what could happen. I found a new strat, should easily save at least ~1 minute / 1:10, will probably make sub 3 easier.

Update:

PB'ed in Infamous by 1:50, my time is now 3:02:21. The video doesn't have audio delay anymore, which is great. I'll keep going, try to get the ultimate goal - Sub 3. My Sum of Best is 2:58:07. Seems easy, but it really isn't.

Pbing in Infamous should be free. SoB is down to 2:58:46, and yesterday I got a 3:07, and I just got a 3:05, just 50s off my PB. Getting more and more consistent.

Little update on Infamous - It's gonna be hard to PB, but I can feel a new PB happening soon, unfortunately I think it won't be sub 3 since my SoB is just barely sub 3. The run is really optimized, but I've been testing to find some new strats, and who knows maybe I can find some big timesaves, but I doubt it. I'm averaging sub 3:15 runs, unfortunately a little mistake can turn into a 2/3 minute time loss, but at least I'm happy I can get consistent runs. Sub 3:20 at ESA should be easy, but I'll try to get consistent sub 3:10 runs. This game will be my main focus for the next few months, even if it doesn't make it into ESA.

I'm glad InFAMOUS got past 1st cuts, gave me a reason to try and push the run down a little bit more. I think I could show a nice run at ESA. I'd like to know why BioShock 2 Minerva's Den / BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea were cut, though, just out of curiosity.

Supposedly cuts won't be fully done until 23:59 today right? If not, well, I didn't think Infamous was gonna my submission to go past cuts, anyway, I won't have much time to run it, but I'll try to be as active as I can, I really wanna show the run as it is now. Plus I'm pretty confident I can do much better than the estimate I put, but I run with some mistakes can go close to 3:20 easily, so I don't think I'll lower the estimate even if I manage to PB (which I doubt, my PB is really good atm), but I'll try.

So I've beaten my PBs for both my BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea and BioShock 2: Minerva's Den, the runs haven't changed from the route shown in the submission videos so I didn't change them, they pbs are updated though, and I plan on beating them soon. I've been consistent at all my submissions lately, pretty hard to PB in InFamous and Monsters Inc though, but at least the Burial at Sea run still has some obvious time to be saved (one of the strats isn't shown correctly in the submission / my pb as it's pretty easy to fail, but the recovery doesn't lose that much.

@SROVRSTRM I read this a little late, sorry. Also there have been some changes in the rules that I'll say here.

Due to XP farming being boring there's no need to buy / unlock the powers, but you require kinda like "All Stunts" but not really, since you can't do the stunts for the EK powers.

Also, I've seen you're using the UGC method of getting the Blast Shards. It's a cool method, but definitely not what I want to see in actual 100%. So I asked for opinion in twitter and 2 runners of the Infamous series liked my idea. So with this in mind, I created 2 categories that pretty much fit what you've done, and will most likely be run by more people if anyone does this because tbh, I think only I like doing 100% the "casual" way.

I understand this might sound weird, but I just don't like that way of collecting the Blast Shard. So from now on:

• 100% GK / EK - UGC mission for the Blast Shards is banned-.
• 100% GK / EK (UGC) - You may collect the 305 Blast Shards by using the UGC mission.
