Speedrun.com states that runs can take upwards of two weeks or longer to get verified, expecting a run to be verified in any time shorter than that, especially with a game like Portal which has a lot of active runners, is foolish and entitled.
No, there's a seperate speedrun.com page for Portal 2 Speedrun Mod.
Developer Commentary% Glitchless
The goal is to beat the game through normal glitchless rules, but you're allowed to do developer commentary node warping. Simply press your use key and your attack2 key on the same tick and you will warp to the next commentary node. As you can see from the video, this shaves a lot of time off of the regular glitchless run and even has some cool routes like 17. My run below is really shotty but all of the routes are there.
I've gone through the leaderboards and cleaned up and retimed console runs. There is now a new "PC/Console" subcategory for each category that can be used when submitting runs.
Here's a few new rules for Xbox IL runs: ATTENTION XBOX RUNNERS: DO NOT SUBMIT USING YOUR CHALLENGE MODE TIME!! DO NOT MAKE AND LOAD SAVES/DIE DURING YOUR INDIVIDUAL LEVEL RUN. Time is calculated starting at when the level loads, and ends when the level fades to black and exits. Video proof is required.
Hey, can you put Portal: Still Alive into the modification category since it is a mod of Portal. https://www.speedrun.com/portalsa/
I assume that you need source unpack, also source unpack is better so just use it anyways lol.
if its glitchless, you wanna swing your mouse and click so that it lands, it can be a bit tricky but I don't think there is a consistent way to get cube throw. If you are doing inbounds/oob/not glitchless, if its a far throw, click then quickly press your use key right after which will make it go further.
it has been over a month since I submitted my any% / oob run, when will the leader board happen
