Sad to see the old leaderboards gone but nice to now have new Showcase competition. Haven't run in years but I have hours and hours of free time today, so yeah, I'm gonna see what I can do for Showcase runs!
So I'm finally getting back into the yacht grind, and all of a sudden, in one run, for what seems like no reason, I got a run with ZERO "I'm gonna roll these ones again" lines. You heard me right, ZERO. Generally you get around 10-15. This saves INSANE amounts of time, but I have ZERO clue what caused it. If we find out, this would shave AT LEAST 30 seconds off the time, giving us real sub 7 potential. Thanks for your time.
The actual record is actual a SUB 7:30 by Glycentrix (linked below)
The only really active mod nowadays is Maximum, and it would be much more efficient if we could have at least one more mod active to verify runs so they are up on the leaderboards faster. I am not saying I should be this mod, but I think we should find another mod for this game.
Here was my inquiry to 2K about it not being available: I can't find any official reason (why it was taken down) and would still love to play the game on PC, though the online servers are down. Why was the game removed and is there any chance it will be added back in the future? And the response: Hello (my email redacted), thanks for contacting 2K support. I appreciate your dedication towards the game. I would like to inform you that the game has been old and this is the reason it has been removed. And these decisions are being taken care by the studio team and we can not make any change into this. I will pass your feedback to concerned team and once we will have more suggestions regarding this on board then team and think about it. I will appreciate your understanding. Let me know if I can help you with anything else. Thanks, Vinod Y. 2K Support
The 1st possible new route: Ledge Skip. Instead of our current route, where we only skip the first conveyor rope, with this route, we could skip all of the final 3 ropes entirely. By slightly changing timing on letting go the 2nd rope, it could be possible to land your body on the left side of the final area, and using some climbing techniques, possibly get through the gate. This could be slightly faster than the current route with good climbing, and much of the luck with arm breaks would be taken out. With this, we could lower to a 17.2 or maybe even 17.1. Technique 2 posted soon.
So my record got broken. Nice mockery there in your message, buddy. I'll be coming for ya.
Royal Rumble: Play as any superstar at #1 or #2 on any difficulty. Time starts when the starting bell rings and ends when the final superstar eliminated touches the floor. No CAWs or Attribute Editing. All Superstars: Win a match on any match type on any difficulty with every included superstar (excluding DLC). Time starts when the starting bell of the first match (Aiden English) is rung. Time ends when you get a pinfall/submission in the final match (Zack Ryder). No CAWs, attribute editing, DLC, or custom match types.
For anyone who does not know a thing I am talking about, let me fill you in. On my own channel, I have done 4 or so runs of a certain part of Hill Climb Racing 2. I sent in my game request. After just about 2 weeks, my request was... rejected, due to quality standards. I was in shock. Being rejected. For any of you who don't know, I had already requested Ninja Warrior 4, a flash game, but was rejected due to not being able to submit a run due to my computer. But now, I had fixed that. I sent in a video of me doing a run, I linked info to the game, I put in the exact release date, and I was rejected anyway. But I will not be deterred... I'm gonna keep running this game on my own.
Do single platform skips make a run fit into this category? I just wanna know.
According to the desc of the game, there are only 31 levels, yet the 32 level category stays. Is the 32nd a secret level or was this not a thing before?
Yep. I almost had a world record run just about 10 minutes ago. Instead, I got a big ol flop at Summerslam 2012. So now, I give to you, my splits, all the way to Summerslam 2012. Ladies, gentlemen or non-binaries, I am NinjazFTW64, or Ninja/Ninjaz for short. I got into speedrunning around 2016, but I really never got around to doing speedruns myself and dropped my passion for it. I came back around to it about a month ago, and I've been grinding some WWE games and Roblox: Speed Run 4 offline, so hopefully, I might get one of those records soon. So yeah, that's basically it.
