There is a command line option called -mpeg which removes the FMVs during runtime. Can this be allowed? It's allowed in the Toy Story 2 community. It would save maybe a second per FMV.
I don't even know if what I'm proposing even makes sense. I want to be able to mute the game so I don't hear it but OBS still picks it up. For example if I want to watch something while speedrunning, it doesn't pick up the show I'm watching. Sorry if I sound retarded with this question.
I just recently binged through all 3 seasons of Mr Robot in 5 days. It was one of the most addicting shows I'd ever watched. It was a similar feeling that I got to watching Breaking Bad. I'm just wondering if there are any thrilling shows like that. Ones that make you want to see the next episode through suspense.

There is a level select cheat that allows you to warp to any level at any time. With this, I think it would be fun to grind individual segments and maybe we can find new IL strats in the process.
I'm avoiding speedrunning more and more because whenever I do, I get so abhorrently angry.
What if, let's say, we fast forward 100 years, and consoles become rarer and rarer. What will happen to speedrunning? Will emulators become the norm? This shit keeps me up at night.
I generally don't like to use emulators if an easily accessible PC version is available (by that I mean easy to pirate).
Has a fix been made or is it doomed to incompatibility hell?
EDIT: I have already tried compatibility mode for Windows XP, 98, and 95. None of which worked.
As I was leaving a bunch of Discord servers that I don't find a reason to be in since I don't post a lot, I accidentally left the Croc discord server. It was not deliberate.
Also I tried messaging Thermo and Paul but Cylde bot stopped me for some reason.
I've thought long and hard about making my own Discord server for my friends and any of my followers. One thing, however, that had made me hesitant to do so is the general inactivity of 90% of Discord servers I am in. Why join a server if you aren't going to be a part of it? So I had a couple of ideas to keep the server live and fun. But there is one that I am certain will cause some controversy.
If a user is inactive and has not posted in the last 7 days, the user will be kicked. If the user would like to re-enter the server, they must run it by me or any Admins with an appeal for why they were inactive.
I want to hear other opinions before I go and do this
I remember watching them about a year ago because I was curious at the time. Then I come to realize that when I want to finally learn it, the videos have been deleted. Does anyone have a backup of the video?
There are 2 main versions of this game. The PC/PS2 version and the Wii version.
PC/PS2 -Before completing a level, in addition to getting the 8 discs, you must collect a certain amount of objects throughout the levels. -Some level layouts are slightly different. -There is no training level -You can skip the exit portal cinematic -The PC port of the game seems to have vanished from the face of the earth. If anyone can find a full version of the game, that would be incredible.
Wii -As stated before, there is a training level and level layouts are slightly different. -The only version released in NTSC regions -Possiblity of a 100% category due to there being multiple modes to replay levels in.
New to this game looking to possibly run NER. YW1 did a clip at the start of CCC and I can't reliably replicate it.' Anyone got any pointers?
I know there is a policy against piracy on this website but I don't think anyone would care. Just checking though since I am going to be doing PC runs and I don't want to have bad blood with the mods right off the bat. The reason I bring this up is because for some inhumane reason, this game doesn't want to install on modern Windows. I was able to install the game on a WinXP VM and extract the files from there. And like witchcraft it starts up and everything. So in case installing from the iso doesn't work for some people, this could be an alternative way to play the game.
