very late reply but I always assumed it meant that, yes. Besides, the rate which you can beat the three knights helps with xp build imo, so why not. You already kill Mcfluffenstein, Lenny and Demon, plus max level and all spells, why not go for the three knights as well. But I mean, this is just an old school runners opinion for a newschool runners world

Great video explaining the oddity! Back in my day(Sounding old here, but when G0goTBC and I were the only runners, this was possible(There is a constant setup for it) saves very little time but it is something used in records. I believe one of my own had this happen, you can even do it from a jump in other positions and get a faster boost. But all in all, I'm glad someone finally made a video on something that was a secret to only top runners for years.

Hi there, To anyone who may be reading this. I'm not sure how anyone can still play the game, nor if it will continue to be a competitively viable speedgame, considering the optimal version that could be played on is sort of... well... lost. If anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear them.

Through extensive testing, unrecorded runs (lots of damage to my hand and wrist)as well as analyzing times from completed runs, I will give by best estimate to the main 4 categories lower limits as of now. Any%: the 2:54 can be lowered to a 2:45 with absolute perfection. matching the fastest bridge, canyon, island and demon beast as well as cleaner movement and the dreaded outer castle skip. Glitchless: The main reason I wanted to make this thread was because in a slow practice run of this category I got a 8:31, I assume a sub 8minute run should be easily doable, perhaps even sub 7 Minutes! All Spells: I believe that a 4:30 could be possible with perfection but only time will tell. 100%: ooh boy here's a doozy, I dont think much can be improved upon on this absolute titanically clean WR, I don't even wanna touch it until I hold 1st on the other three categories. Unfortunately it is not arcade prehacks and was in fact run on maxgames.com you can go there and recreate the run yourself, i recently got back into the game and plan on beating my old WR since there is a lot of improvements. Any other questions you may have feel free to ask. Sincerely pudgey. p.s. i glitch hunt this game constantly and share my findings(example: castle skip and outer castle skip) the game has been broken down a lot since auriplanes original speedrun. i theorise a perfect run could beat it in about 2:30 nowadays.
