Not sure if anyone has tried the dreamcast world tour mode but its different and doesnt follow the same order as PS1 at all. And many different features. So i did a run of this last night but not sure where to end for any% since the rules posted dont apply to the dreamcast and most likely dont apply to the saturn port either, but im not sure.
I propose any% ends after beating dictator in America since after you beat him and giveup the first Gokuentou fight, the end credits roll. and 100% will be beating the Gokuentou bosses?
So i personally used to play all my games exclusively on a Asus LCD pc monitor with the games being upscaled via rgb+OSSC, since then i play on a sony 14"PVM crt , I have to say as long as you have a 1ms lcd monitor and use a ossc you can def get used to playing on it and not have any issues. I switched to PVM just for pure nostalgia of playing on crt and maybe piece of mind knowing that theres no lag on crt at all. It definitely not a issue to play on low lag lcd though.
As for CRT eyestrain, i dont get any playing on a 14" at about 3 feet away from it, but as AMVX stated each person is different.
I hope theres some way we can keep the general new layout, but at least give game mods the option to customize AT LEAST the background image to a board. maybe the trophy images too if you would like to be nice :3
ok so for the last skip where exactly am i jumping though to the top level? my clip:
I've been doing it by jumping then hovering as low to the ground as possible, then drop while flapping and as soon as i see the dust sprites on the ground i press and hold A and then the seagull flys
i dont know if thats how it works for sure but thats how i get it to work. even mashing A on the descent sometimes helps me time the jump to start flying.
made a clip
im playing on crt and its probably a 2 frame jump cancel window
yeah all of street mode each character is all gundams im assuming. reading the board it says "no rules defined" so id say do whatever settings you want until the mods say other wise. But I'd think they want you to play from a fresh save
i'd say go with OEM or if you feel like dropping around 40-50$ you can find the Sansui SSS which is what I use. It has a really similar dpad to the OEM controller, but its a little thicker and has rounded edges so its way more comfortable!
Definitely an issue of not getting hit on the right pixel and then holding right after getting hit
I use official Sony PS2/PS3 component cables run into my OSSC then line doubled for output into a generic HDMI splitter and one signal to my monitor and one signal to my Startech USB3.0 HD Cap
I've contacted Barrylesjambes on twitter when I wanted stuff submitted try there.
