I've been working on the routing and execution for couple of weeks now, but I did not wish to present anything over here without having a video showcasing what I was on about.
I also get that in terms of "difficulty" this cannot be compared to the ASJ's, as it's more of a test of piloting skills rather than anything else, but I'd really like to see other people try this and get some times up. There could be a hidden Maverick in all of us, after all.
Hello. I am new here, so I'm hoping this goes like it should in the right place it's supposed to be in.
I would like to request a new subcategory to be added under the miscellaneous category, which would be for the "Close Shave" flying challenge, which is the "Under the Bridge" (50/50 bridges) and "Knife Flight" (15/15 knife edge flights) challenges combined.
The idea for this was born in the chat of FriendlyBaron's stream, when he was presented the question "Under the Bridge% when?" as a joke, following his completion on the record of the All Stunt Jumps -category. Now I laughed, just like everyone else did, until I realised it actually could have potential.
The Under the Bridge -challenge alone does not sound that interesting to do, so I thought that the completion for the Close Shave -challenge would actually be much more fun.
I've done it using the rules that are in place for the All Stunt Jumps -category, with using the mission skips for the prologue section as well as using a taxi to fast travel between places.
My test footage for this can be found here: . It's recorded with manual splits, with a finishing time of around 42 minutes. Sorry for the poor video quality, it's recorded off from my livestream footage.
Does this idea carry any weight or should it be forgotten?
