An update to my previous world record run of this. I said I was happy with the last one, and I was, as long as I didn't rewatch it or think about it at all. So this one's better.
Still not perfect by a long shot. This dungeon SUCKS to do individual runs of, there's so much random stuff going on with it. The first room killed about 85% of attempts right off the bat, with the vast majority of attempts past that dying to the turrets. I wanted to work at the run until there was no damage in the first part and all turrets lined up to die immediately, but it's just so frustrating.
Main time saves over the old method are from skipping the alien steroids and faster hot tile skip. Slightly cleaner play throughout as well.
First non-black frame at 0.07s, first all-black frame at the end at 2:44.56, so actual time is 2:44.49. Just about twelve second improvement. Now to never touch this IL again.
Full breakdown of the IL run is in the youtube description for those attempting to up their game.
