This is an outline of the notes I use in my runs. The dungeon directions could use some work to make them a bit easier to read on the fly. I've added a bit of info on most of the spells in the game, notably how much MP they cost and at what Title you learn them. I've also added a list of usable items and what they do at the bottom. Hope these can be useful to someone and get some more runners on the board.

1. Detect 50 gold beside church.

2. Talk to mom for 100 gold.

3. Go south outside town and detect hidden Mega-P.

4. Map to Landale and go west to Goblins. Loot all 3 chests then map to Landale.

5. Detect potion beside item shop then enter item shop.

6. Buy a Potion and sell the Mega-P.

7. Go to the Armor shop and buy the Leather Gloves. (-400 gold)

8. Go next door to the Weapon shop and buy the Hand Axe. (-80 gold)

9. Go west and kill all Goblins (16), using Home to heal.

10. After all 16 Goblins are dead go south to the Wizard to get the Magic Stone.

11. Map to Landale then: a. If gold is 480+, go to the Armor shop and buy the Sallet. Rest to heal. b. If gold is >480, go to step 12a.

12. Go to Crale and loot the Potion next to the house. a. Kill Kobolds quickly until gold>480, then buy Sallet from Landale.

13. Parry spam Offense to ~430, rest in Crale as needed.

14. Loot all 3 Potions while heading to Kobold King.

15. Enter Kobold King lair. Place MC between trees to limit engagement to 1v1. Potion at ~150 HP as needed.

16. Collect sword icon and 200 gold from the Mayor of Crale,then map to Landale and speak to the King.

17. Equip Longsword.

18. Map to Crale then walk through the woods to Elf Village.

19. Go north to Dragon Rock and save Elrad from 4 Killhounds.

20. Detect 110 gold beside southern-most house.

21. Enter the Woodlands and loot all hidden treasures. a. Go directly south and detect the Elixir from the chest. b. Go west from the entrance and detect 250 gold from chest inside wall. c. Go south and detect Mega-P from chest. d. Go east and detect 350 gold from chest inside wall. e. Go south then west and detect Mega-P from chest.

22. Enter Woodlands 2 and loot all hidden treasures. a. Go directly west from entrance and detect 120 gold from chest inside wall. b. Go south and take the lowest path around to right before the Jelly blocking the path. Detect the Elixir from the chest in the wall.

23. Map to Landale and enter the item shop.

24. Sell off both Elixirs. (+1000 gold) a. If gold<2480, sell Leather, L-Shoes and Round. (+250 gold) a1. If gold<2480, sell Hand Axe and Dagger. (+45 gold) a2. If gold<2480, run over.

25. Enter Armor shop and buy Chain, Kite and L-Boots. (-2480) a. OPTIONAL: Buy a Mega-P from the item shop for extra safety. (-220 gold)

26. Rest at Home, then map to Elf Village.

27. Go directly to woodlands 2 and Parry spam Trolls by entrance until ~750 Offense. Rest in Elf Village as needed.

28. Go to Basilisk's Lair and detect Mega-P from chest inside wall.

29. Enter Basilisk Fight and use Mega-P's at ~250HP as needed.

30. Collect sword icon, then map to Landale and speak to the King.

31. Equip Gauntlet to MC, then head south to Taurus Plains.

32. Kill all Bugbears (14) using Fireball (20MP) and finishing off with MC.

33. After all Bugbears are dead, go south into the volcano then return to the plains.

34. Speak with Midi then follow her into the volcano.

35. Speak with Midi again, then defeat the 3 Killhounds.

36. Return to the plains and rest at the inn.

37. Follow the volcano path to the cave while looting the chests. a. Detect 220 gold on the 1st level. b. Detect Elixir in left chest on 2nd level.

38. Enter the cave and go right, then up to the transition. Use Thunder if caught.

39. Go up into the large room and walk through the bottom right wall to a secret area. Open chests 1, 2, and 4 from left to right. a. 420 gold. b. 420 gold. c. 415 gold.

40. Continue up into the large room and walk into the right wall in the hallway to Detect the Fire Ring from the chest.

41. Equip the Fire Ring to MC then go left to the transition.

42. Follow the path until the split. Go down then left to the healing pad.

43. Go back then up then left to the Warlock's Chamber.

44. Use Elrad to cast: Silence (15MP), Fireball (20MP), Coldbolt (30MP), Thunder x5(200MP). Expend the rest of Elrad's MP on Thunder and Fireball as needed. Use the Fire Ring if Elrad runs out of MP and Warlock is still alive.

45. Return to the health pad before backtracking through the cave.

46. Pick up Astina then map to Landale and speak with the King.

1. Sell off any Misc items obtained along the way to free up space.
2. Head east across the bridge to pick up Midi.
3. Trade Astina Midi's Boar and Power Gloves then move Astina to last position.
4. Head east the loop around west to the waterfall cave.
5. Go right, then up to the transition. Freeze+MC attack will usually kill a Repuilias.
6. Go up, left, up, left to transition. Use Thunder if caught by small amount of Jellies.
7. Go down, left, then up to transition. Turn around to detect 1480 gold from the chest.
8. Head up to the health pad, then left to transition.
9. Go up, left, down, left to transition.
10. Head left, then up, then left and up again to the Hydra Chamber.
11. Have Elrad cast Thunder (40MP), Coldbolt x4 (120MP), and Freeze x3 (180MP). Use Fire Ring if Hydra is alive. a. Use Mega-P on Astina at ~400HP
12. Go upstairs and read the door.
13. Map to Landale and speak with the King.

1. Sell Elrad's Mantle and 2 Elixirs. (+2000 gold)
2. Buy Elrad a Life Ring (-6000 gold) and fill Midi's inventory with Magic Potions.(700 gold)
3. Change lineup to Astina, Elrad, MC, Midi.
4. Head east across the bridge, then head north into the snow.
5. Move northeast through the trees cutting back west to detect an Elixir. Cast Firestorm if caught. Go north to transition to Argel shops.
6. Detect hidden Thunder Ring beside armor shop, the move through the trees to the village exit and go south.
7. move east into the trees to detect a Rune Shield from a hidden chest.
8. Map to Taurus plains and buy Magic-A for Astina. (-2500 gold)
9. Return to Argel and rest at the inn.
10. Go west then up to the cave. Cast Firestorm (85MP) if caught.
11. Follow the path up, then go left and down again. Cast Firestorm (85MP) if caught.
12. Follow the path up, then left. Take the farthest right path up to transition.
13. Walk around and into the center for a health pad. Keep casting Firestorm and healing as needed until Elrad>410MP.
14. Go down and detect the chest for Thunder Gloves.
15. Walk right then up to transition.
16. Go down, then right, then up, then right to transition.
17. Walk right, then up all the way. Detect the chest for Myth-Ch.
18. Equip Astina with Myth-Ch, Rune Shield, Magic-A and Thunder Gloves.
19. Equip Life Ring to Elrad and refill hisMP to max then reorder party to Astina, Midi, MC, Elrad
20. Give Elrad 2 Magic Potions then enter the boss chamber.
21. Move Elrad to the center tile of the entrance and cast Firestorm (85MP) 6 times. Use magic potions as needed. Each potion gives 50MP.
22. Revive Midi with the Life Ring then Cast Escape.
23. Map to Landale, revive party at church then speak with the King.

1. Map to Argel and pick up the Leather.
2. Map to Crale and pick up the Lumber.
3. Map to Landale and sell off old gear.
4. Speak with the wizard on the hill to get Magic Wings.
5. Map to Argel and go east.
6. Walk north, then west, then north again to ruins.
7. Detect hidden chest in trees for Rune Armor.
8. Enter ruins and kill off party except Astina.
9. Go all the way up and follow the path right to transition.
10. Walk up then right to the transition.
11. Go down and into the wall to detect Elixir x2 and Life Ring from the chests.
12. Go down the stairs and wrap around to the north exit.
13. LABYRINTH: a. Down to Jellies, then left. b. Up until chest. Detect Rune Helm. c. Down until chest. Detect Rune Boots. d. Up, then right, then down to chest. Detect Earth Sword. e. Up then left until you can't. Go down.
14. Equip Astina with Rune Helm, Rune Boots, Earth Sword and Life Ring.
15. Parry Spam Minotaurs until ~5100 Offense then revive party at health pad.
16. Equip Elrad with Magic-A, Elfin Shield, Power Gloves and Myth-Ch then go down to the boss chamber.
17. Cast Spark (120MP) x4 with Elrad to kill of all minions.
18. After minions are dead, Revive Midi with Astina.
19. Cast Weaken on Lich with Midi
20. Attack with Astina until Lich dies. Use Recover (50MP) or Revive (80MP) as needed.
21. Revive party with Astina then map to Landale to speak with the Minister.

2. Buy 7 Elixirs and fill Elrad's inventory with Magic Potions from the item shop.

3. Map to Elf Village and go north to Dragon Rock.

4. Pick up Element Sword and Equip to Astina.

5. Enter dungeon and go northeast to door to speak with the King.

6. Cast Explosion x2 (600MP) and Firestorm (85MP) with Elrad. Use Magic Potions as needed. Use MC's Fire Ring to finish off Stragglers too far for Astina.

7. Go through the rooms without going near any chests. Use health pad.

8. Walk northeast to the exit.

9. Speak with Kanan then go up to Gargoyles.

10. Cast Explosion x2 (600MP) with Elrad. Revive with Astina as needed.

11. Go down to health pad then return to door.

12. Enter Black Dragon lair: a. Cast Explosion x2 (600MP) with Elrad. b. Cast Weaken on Black Dragon with Midi. c. Cast Power Up on Astina with Midi. d. Have Astina cast Reduce on herself. e. Have Astina cast Shield on herself. f. Attack Black Dragon with Astina until it dies. Use Revive and Elixirs at ~1200HP.

To my knowledge, the Rune armor pieces will never break when used as an item in battle.

I've never gotten the correct conditions for the Earth Swords spell to be castable, although it is a friendly spell. I'm assuming it's Detox or Purify.

ALL of the rings can typically be used several times before they break. The number seems to be random, and yes they can break on the first use.
