VS format is a nuisance since, if one selects 'in order' for any track, it will keep replaying it until 32 races are achieved on the same course. So one would have to use 'choose' and select each individual track manually.

Not sure if I should use GP or VS format...

GP is probably your best bet, because you would only have to choose each cup rather than each track.
